Remarks
The first half of this flight is over the same desert and sand dunes as the last 4-5 flights, however it gets interesting in the second half. The route follows the coast so you can get a good look at the UAE man-man islands. You do pass through Abu Dhabi’s class C airspace so make sure you get permission, but the view from 2000 feet is worth it.
The final destination for this flight is NOT Dubai international airport it is a small landing strip in the sea used by the local sky diving club. It was chosen to allow for the best view of the city, cruise ships & the palm islands, however it is SHORT so make sure you can get your plane down and stopped in the 2,233ft of this runway as there is sea on 3 sides and no one wants to make a splash. The Vision Jet is no problem as long as you hit the landing zone, if you end up landing mid-runway your going to cut it too close.
