Nice flight into Dallas International. I had some trouble with ATC. My flight plan was for a cruise of just 8,000ft and with only 20NM to go I was being requested to ascend to 25,000ft which clearly would have had be coming back down almost immediately to meet the 4,000ft entry for the ILS approach to runway 18L I had already been assigned. I just ignored the repeated requests to climb.
