World Tour 2023
As with many of us PioneerX’s founder has a job, family and commitments and as such the time that can be spent in a simulator is limited. At most my sessions are around 1-2h long, but I still wanted to do a world tour with real-time flights.
To do this we took the already excellent tour designed by The_Fly and posted on flightsim.to. We have modified the tour to replace some airports that are no longer active in MSFS and to change some of the longer flight legs to allow for almost all legs to be around 1-1.5h long (when flown in real-time).

PioneerX will be flying this tour over Christmas 2022 and early 2023 with each flight segment flown individually. The updates will be posted in the blog below and the single flight plans will be placed HERE.
As an avid user of NeoFly each of the flight segments done will be a mission (or cargo transit) within NeoFly and used to ferry virtual cargo or passengers on the flight leg where ever possible. The goal is not just to complete all 115 flights but to do so under the costs, weights and fuel conditions imposed by NeoFly. As such I have already purchased the plane I intend to use (Cirrus Vision Jet SF50) within NeoFly ($1.2M for a used jet requiring ~$80K of airframe and engine maintenance) and started to bring it to the starting airport at Munich (EDDM). This means that I will taking cargo or passengers on each leg where possible to fund the fuel and maintenance costs the jet will incur during the trip.
Once at EDDM I will start to plan and execute each flight leg which can be tracked here…..

The World Tour was completed on 27th January 2023 and ended up a total of 22,818NM, over 2000 miles more that calculated, this was due to the routing differences as the original calculation was direct from airport to airport without approach considerations.
A total of 3 days, 13 hours and 30 minutes of flight time.
